Kids' Orchestra

Given our students are so young, we are interested in the impact on grades and test scores of those who participate in Kids’ Orchestra. Through quantitative and qualitative data, we have found that on average, our students' grades were 15% higher than those that were not in Kids’ Orchestra. We also found that their school attendance, behavior, and self-confidence had improved by 77%. 82% of the students reported feeling confident, part of a team, and felt like they were good at something.

As a student in our program, your child benefits from a minimum of 2 concerts a year. They also have the option to participate in our Honors or Kids’ Choir Programs. Honors and Kids’ Choir Program students may perform in up to 35 performances a year! These performances help build teamwork, self-confidence, patience, and diligence which are essential to performing in an ensemble and being an effective communicator in their future.
