Baton Rouge (July 1, 2018) – Open to ALL K-5th grade students in East Baton Rouge Parish and the surrounding area. Kids’ Orchestra is a nonprofit, after-school music program that provides nearly 800 students the opportunity to study an array of orchestral instruments, perform in an ensemble, and/or sing in a choir. Students not attending a partner school must provide their own transportation to the site school closest to them.

Submit your application as early as possible. Returning students receive priority throughout July. All new students are then accepted through a lottery drawing beginning August 1.

Baton Rouge-based Kids’ Orchestra, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is the largest after-school music program for elementary-age students in the Nation. In its seventh year, the program provides nearly 800 students from public, private, and charter schools from all corners of East Baton Rouge Parish the opportunity to study an array of instruments, perform in an ensemble, and/or sing in a choir.
