At the heart of Kids’ Orchestra’s mission is a commitment to create spaces where people of all backgrounds and abilities can come together and experience the transformative power of music. Our work breaks down barriers when we deepen our understanding of the challenges faced by those we serve, many of which are rooted in long-standing patterns of social inequities, exclusions, and divisions. Our cause is rooted in conversation and action, and nurtures students to become global citizens. As a result, we commit to removing systemic barriers to participation and to foster a community of belonging for all.
