FALL 2022 REGISTRATION

Welcome to Kids’ Orchestra! We are excited to announce that KO programming is starting soon for the 2022-2023 school year! This year, we will have sites at Baton Rouge Foreign Language Academic Immersion Magnet (BR FLAIM), Audubon Elementary, The Dufrocq School, and Westdale Heights Academic Magnet (WHAM). Each student enrolled in one of our site-based programs will receive:

  • 24-26 Group Lessons taught by local professional teaching artists

  • Each week will consist of two lessons days (Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday)

  • Performance opportunities at the end of each semester

  • An instrument on loan for students enrolled in an instrumental class

  • Social Emotional Learning (SEL) lessons that connect to the music classroom

  • All materials, music, and accessories for each class

  • A free concert t-shirt

  • A healthy snack each day

INTERESTED IN PRIVATE LESSONS?

We will also continue our Private Lessons program for families interested in individual instruction, and/or students who do not attend one of the schools listed above. Please click here to be directed to the application page for KO Private Lessons.
Each student enrolled in KO@Home Private Lessons will receive:

  • 12-24 Private Lessons taught by local professional teaching artists

  • Performance opportunities at the end of each semester

  • An instrument on loan including all materials, music, and accessories

  • A free concert t-shirt
