Here at Kids’ Orchestra, we are committed to building a community of creative, confident, and socially engaged students through music education.
We give Kindergarten through 12th grade students across South Louisiana the opportunity to study music, learn an instrument, and perform in an ensemble.
Available Jobs - Greater Baton Rouge
Program Manager - Full Time
The Program Manager (school-based sites) oversees all aspects of assigned Kids’ Orchestra afterschool program sites including program logistics and community partnerships. Additional duties may be assigned by a supervisor based on candidates’ interests, skills, and qualifications. The Program Manager reports to the Program Director.
Teaching Artist - Part Time
Teaching Artists in the Greater Baton Rouge area work with students, parents, site staff, and volunteers to make each day inclusive and edifying, to deliver a quality musical experience for students, and create enriching educational experiences at KO sites. Teaching Artists report to the Program Director.
Site Coordinator/Assistant - Part Time
Site Coordinators work with students, parents, teachers, and volunteers to make each day inclusive and edifying, to direct communications from the program, and to perform other daily logistics for the site. Site Assistants assist the Site Coordinator where needed. Both positions report to the Program Manager.
