Strings: Violin, Viola, Cello, and Bass
What's Included with the Rental?
Strings: instrument, bow, case, rosin, cleaning cloth
Woodwinds: instrument, case, mouthpiece, one reed, cleaning cloth
Brass: instrument, case, mouthpiece, valve oil, cleaning cloth
Percussion: drum pad, drum stand, drum sticks
Instruments that are in high demand may have limited inventories.

Repair & Replacement Coverage
The parent/guardian and the student are responsible for the proper care and safety of the instrument. Kids' Orchestra will be responsible for minor, accidental damages. In the event of theft, loss, damage, or destruction of the instrument, the parent/guardian may be liable to Kids' Orchestra for the value of the instrument or its repairs.
FAQs
How long do I have to rent my instrument?
Rentals are month-to-month, so you have the flexibility to rent for as long or as short as you like! If you decide to return the instrument, just bring it back to the KO office.
How do I receive or return my instrument?
Pick up and drop off instruments at the Kids' Orchestra office, located at 647 Main Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70801.
What do I do if my rental instrument breaks or needs repairs?
Accidents happen! Email Rebeca Lemos, KO Instrument Inventory Manager, at rlemos@kidsorchestra.org to report the incident and schedule a time to bring it back to the office to be repaired.
